Let's take you in the lives of two best friends or let's say brothers, Shivam and Siddharth. Where
Shivam has just finished his graduation and Siddharth will be entering his second year in college.
This thursday is Siddharth's birthday. He will be turning 19. It is kind of a ritual that every year on
Siddharth’s birthday Shivam bakes a cake for him and surprises him at midnight. But as I earlier told
you that Shivam has just finished his graduation and has began working with a large multinational
corporation which has schedule extremely busy. It is looking like Shivam will not be able to uphold the
ritual and surprise his best friend this year on his birthday eve. But those of us who don't know
Shivam, he loves his best friend just like his parents and he requested his superior to allow him to
leave early that evening so that he can rush home quickly and start baking a cake for siddharth. It is
said that once the destiny decides something, not even our efforts can change that decision.
Just when Shivam was to leave from his work, he received a phone call from his superior stating that
an urgent meeting has been called by the manager and it is mandatory for every employee of that
division to attend that meeting. It felt like as if someone has swept the ground away from shivam’s
feet. Understanding that he has to attend the meeting and cannot leave immediately, Shivam was
extremely disappointed. The ritual which was not actually a surprise but something that would happen
every year on Siddharth's birthday. Shivam felt as if he let his best friend down.

Fast forward to midnight, Siddharth was waiting for the expected surprise from Shivam. But Shivam
was sitting in his  office, working on the task assigned to him in the emergency meeting. As the clock
ticked past 12, Siddharth's disappointment was pretty much visible to everyone at his house. His
parents tried to make him understand that maybe Shivam got stuck at some urgent work and would
not miss his birthday for the world. Suddenly Siddharth's phone started to ring. It was shivam’s
call. Siddharth picked up the call and immediately screamed, “where are you!”. The voice from the
other end said, “be quiet and open the door.”. Siddharth rushed down and opened the door and saw
a delivery man from wishbells holding a cake. The guy said, “this is for you!”.  Shivam said that I
would miss anything but not our ritual my best friend! Sorry I cannot be there but here is something
from me! Happy birthday! I shall definitely meet you as soon as I am back from work! Stay awake!
